I’m Ash.

I’m 23, living around an hour from Melbourne, Australia.

I like my LC-A+. Children’s classics. Bob Dylan. My Gretsch Catalina rock kit. Atheism. Writing. To-do lists. Making positive affirmations I’m quite unlikely to keep. Travelling. Paris. Art, and getting my hands dirty with charcoal. Noise and distortion. Fitzroy and Camden. Markets. Romance.  Seeing unknown bands in dirty little pubs. Melbourne, boutique cafes and chai. Running until I can’t run anymore. Vegetarianism. Fashion- studs, monochrome and vintage. Physiotherapy (career of choice). Losing weight. Being alone. Sex. Thinking about the future. Androgeny.  My love, far too far away from me.

I dislike organised religion. Pretentious indie wank. Ignorance. The distance across the sea. Heat. My metabolism. Mess. Not remembering my dreams. Writer’s block. My inability to save money.  Addiction. Unwarranted arrogance. Grammatical and spelling errors. Stupidity. The mindless shit they put on television. The concept of boredom.
